After pickup, start your scenic drive towards Barkot, a peaceful Himalayan halt on the traditional route to Yamunotri. The journey gradually leaves the plains and moves into the Garhwal hills, offering changing views of river valleys, forested slopes and mountain settlements. On arrival, check in and relax after the drive. The evening is reserved for rest and preparation for the next day’s sacred Yamunotri darshan.
Early in the morning, proceed towards Janki Chatti, the base point for the sacred journey to Yamunotri Temple. Continue towards the shrine by trek, pony or palki as per arrangements and guest preference. The route is surrounded by rugged mountain scenery, fresh Himalayan air and devotional energy. At Yamunotri, visit the revered temple, spend time near the thermal spring area and seek blessings of Goddess Yamuna. After darshan and local exploration, return to Janki Chatti and drive back to Barkot for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, begin your journey towards Uttarkashi, a revered Himalayan town known for its temples, spiritual heritage and location on the banks of the Bhagirathi River. The drive offers beautiful views of mountain slopes, small villages and river valleys that reflect the quiet charm of Garhwal. On arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. Depending on time and local access, visit nearby spiritual points such as Kashi Vishwanath Temple or explore the town at a gentle pace. The evening prepares you for the Gangotri darshan ahead.
Start early for the sacred journey to Gangotri, one of the most revered shrines of the Char Dham circuit. The route follows the dramatic Bhagirathi valley, passing through dense forests, mountain bends, riverside views and serene Himalayan landscapes. On arrival, visit Gangotri Temple, dedicated to Goddess Ganga, and spend time in the temple complex where devotion, nature and mythology come together beautifully. Explore the riverbank area, offer prayers and absorb the powerful atmosphere of the Bhagirathi River before returning to Uttarkashi by evening.
After breakfast, check out and begin one of the longer road journeys of the Char Dham Yatra as you travel from Uttarkashi towards Guptkashi. The route takes you through changing Himalayan landscapes, river valleys, mountain roads and important pilgrimage corridors. As the journey progresses, the terrain becomes more dramatic, with views of the Mandakini region, forested hillsides and distant snow-clad peaks on clear days. On arrival in Guptkashi, check in and relax. The evening is kept light for preparation before the sacred Kedarnath section.
Begin early for one of the most spiritually powerful days of the journey. Drive towards Sonprayag or Gaurikund as per local arrangements, and continue onwards to Kedarnath by trek, pony, palki or helicopter where available and booked separately. The route is filled with devotion, dramatic Himalayan scenery and the constant presence of fellow pilgrims. Kedarnath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, stands in a breathtaking valley surrounded by towering peaks. Proceed for darshan as per time, crowd and local conditions, and spend the evening in the sacred valley.
Wake up in the divine atmosphere of Kedarnath, where early morning views of the temple and surrounding peaks create a deeply moving experience. If time, weather and local arrangements permit, attend morning darshan or spend peaceful moments near the temple before beginning the return journey. Descend towards Gaurikund or Sonprayag by the available route option, witnessing the grandeur of the Kedarnath valley once again. On reaching the road head, continue by vehicle towards Guptkashi and rest after this physically demanding yet spiritually rewarding experience.
After breakfast, depart for Badrinath, the final dham of the pilgrimage and one of the most celebrated shrines dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The drive passes through scenic Garhwal landscapes, sacred river valleys and important Himalayan towns such as Joshimath. As you approach Badrinath, the surroundings become increasingly dramatic, with towering peaks and the Alaknanda River adding to the spiritual mood. On arrival, check in and proceed for Badrinath Temple darshan as per timings. Spend the evening in the divine atmosphere of this sacred temple town.
Begin the day in the spiritual atmosphere of Badrinath. Depending on time, weather and accessibility, visit nearby sacred and cultural points around Badrinath or the Mana side before starting your return journey towards Rudraprayag.
