Meghalaya Dawki & Mawlynnong Discovery | 5 Nights 6 Days

Begin the morning with breakfast before visiting Shillong Peak, Elephant Falls, Don Bosco Museum and Ward’s Lake. Between Shillong Peak and Ward’s Lake, cool spray and hill roads keep the outing refreshing. Before returning to Shillong, pause once more for the view beyond Shillong Peak. Reach Shillong by dusk for dinner and overnight rest.

Check out after breakfast and continue towards Cherrapunji. Along the way, discover Nohkalikai Falls, Mawsmai Cave, Seven Sisters Falls and Arwah Cave. Around Nohkalikai Falls, water and greenery bring a calm rhythm to the route. After Arwah Cave, arrive by evening, check in and relax over dinner before the overnight stay.

After Dawki Border, return for dinner and overnight rest.

After breakfast, set out to explore Laitlum Canyons, Smit Village, Cathedral of Mary Help of Christians and Police Bazaar. Around Laitlum Canyons, village lanes, handmade crafts and everyday scenes bring the surroundings closer. Take the route slowly enough for the scenery between Laitlum Canyons and Police Bazaar to remain part of the experience. Dinner and overnight rest follow in Shillong.

Begin the final morning with breakfast and check-out, keeping time for Umiam Lake Viewpoint and Brahmaputra Plains. Afterwards, leave for Guwahati Airport / Railway Station as the scenery beyond Brahmaputra Plains slowly recedes behind the vehicle. Arrive at the scheduled drop point carrying a clear memory of the journey that led there.
